High pressure holds today, but change is on the way

Good morning! We're going to see the apex of the recent warming trend around the Central Coast today. Our skies are starting off clear and they'll remain that way into the weekend, before a couple of low pressure troughs encourage some onshore flow and the return of the marine layer by Sunday. Those conditions will stick around through Monday, with some low clouds and morning fog hugging the hills and valleys and coastline.

By Tuesday, more high pressure will push into the skies over the west coast, and we'll see warming temperatures and the return of blue skies.

Today though, we'll see offshore breezes return with temperatures warming into the 70s and 80s.

Here's a look at today's high temperatures:
Paso Robles-82
Cambria-72
Atascadero-81
Morro Bay-73
San Luis Obispo-82
Pismo Beach-70
Nipomo-75

Santa Maria-80
Los Alamos-79
Solvang-82
Lompoc-76
Goleta-80
Santa Barbara-82
