PIEDMONT, Calif. (AP) - Parents have been told California high school athletes formed a "Fantasy Slut League" that awards points for sexual conquests.

Piedmont High School principal Rich Kitchens says the league, which has existed up to six years, has disbanded.

School officials learned of the varsity player team-bonding league after a date-rape awareness assembly earlier this month and it was followed up by an investigation. The number of students in the league is being withheld.

The San Francisco Chronicle (http://bit.ly/PNbkO4 ) says Kitchen sent a letter to parents on Friday saying female students are drafted as part of the league and male students earn points for having sex with the girls.

The school, which is in the affluent Piedmont area near Oakland, is not planning to discipline the students involved.
