Deputies from the San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara County Sheriffs' Offices are searching for a man involved in a high-speed chase.
The pursuit ended in a hit and run crash in the Grover Beach Area.
The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office says the pursuit started around 5:45 Wednesday evening near Donovan Avenue and Highway 101 in Santa Maria.
The chase reached speeds of up to 100 miles-per-hour.
Investigators say the car had two people inside, a male and a female.
Deputies called the pursuit off when the vehicle exited the freeway in Grover Beach.
They say the stolen vehicle was eventually involved in a hit-and run crash and the occupants ran away on foot.
Investigators say the female suspect was taken into custody but the male suspect is still on the loose.
