High surf advisory until Friday morning

Surf 8 to 10 feet with local sets to 13 feet. the surf will be highest on west to northwest facing beaches including high surf advisory remains in effect until 6 am Friday

Surf 8 to 10 feet with local sets to 13 feet. the surf will be highest on west to northwest facing beaches including: Moonstone Beach, Morro Bay and Surf Beach.

Strong rip current and wave activity will make swimming dangerous. sneaker waves can suddenly pull people into the ocean near the surf zone and rock jetties.

A high surf advisory means that high surf will affect beaches in the advisory area producing rip currents and localized beach erosion.
