A high surf advisory has been issued for San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara County beaches from Monday morning through Tuesday evening. Surf height could reach 15 feet. Large breakers and strong rip currents will make entering the water dangerous. The onshore flow and marine layer will produce low clouds through Monday morning. A low pressure system will move east and the winds will become more northerly, resulting in clearing by Tuesday. It will be breezy along our central coast with stronger winds in our mountain regions through Tuesday evening. A warming trend will begin on Wednesday due to an offshore flow resulting in above normal temperatures heading into the weekend.
