Caltrans has reopened Highway 1 south of Big Sur, after a rockslide closed the highway in both directions more than a week ago.
The slide occurred about 25 miles south of Big Sur, near Limekiln State Park. Caltrans says the area will remain under one-way traffic control signals as it was before the slide.
