Highway 1 roadway blocked after head-on crash

The California Highway Patrol is on scene of a head -on crash on Highway 1 near Clark Avenue in Santa Barbara County.
Crews on scene say a vehicle hit a truck head-on just outside of Orcutt.
The crash has blocked both lanes of the roadway and it is expected to remain closed for at least an hour.
We are told one person had to be extricated from their vehicle and is being taken to a nearby hospital by helicopter.
