Highway 101 reopen after fire near top of Cuesta Grade

The California Highway Patrol says Highway 101 at the top of the Cuesta Grade is open after a fire broke out in a storm drain around 8:15 a.m.

CAL FIRE says the northbound side of the highway was closed near Mount Lowe Road, but has since reopened.

Crews are beginning to clear the scene.
