Caltrans says it has finished installing several horizontal drains on Highway 1, one mile north of Ragged Point. Crews are still in the area cleaning up.

Meantime, roadwork continues on a retaining wall project near Gamboa point in Monterey County. Traffic there is down to one lane just south of Lucia. That work is expected to be completed in June.
