A 22-year old woman has a banged-up car and some minor injuries, but it could have been much worse.
She was heading southbound on the 101 through San Luis Obispo about 10:30 this morning, when a brown SUV clipped her convertible Mitsubishi Spyder and sent her crashing into the center median, just south of Los Osos Valley Road.
The SUV didn't stop, but a group of people in a red vehicle that witnessed the accident, did pull over to check on her.
She suffered some bruises, mostly from the airbag deployment. The accident snarled traffic along the 101 for about a half-hour.
The CHP is investigating the accident.
