Homeless man arrested for child pornography charges

San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's detectives say they have arrested a homeless man for possession of child pornography.

Detectives arrested 68-year-old Lawrence Baughman on Thursday. He is scheduled to be arraigned in San Luis Obispo Superior Court on Tuesday.

Detectives say they arrested Baughman in Oceano after they discovered thousands of images of child pornography, on a computer that was traced to the suspect.

Detectives say Baughman lived in his car, but kept a separate van where he stored computer equipment. Detectives have seized hundreds of discs they say may contain similar images of children.
