The Maxine Lewis Memorial Shelter in San Luis Obispo reopened Wednesday.
The shelter had been shut down twice over the last couple weeks because of bed bugs.
This last week, the shelter was covered with a fumigation tent to get rid of the bugs.
The tent was removed Monday, and the shelter was sniffed out by a detection dog specially trained to find bed bugs Tuesday.
The Prado Day Center was also searched by a detection dog and no bed bugs were found there either.
