The El Camino Homeless Organization is Atascadero is expanding their services in anticipation of the storm forecast for this coming week.

A spokesperson there says they will provide an overnight warming station for anyone who needs to get out of the rain starting tomorrow evening. Although the shelter is currently full, a warm, safe room will be set aside to help additional homeless people who need shelter from the rain until Thursday.

Coffee and hot cocoa will be provided, and a hot meal will be served between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m..

People wishing to help can do so by donating sleeping bags, blankets or their time.

Call (805) 462- FOOD to leave a message.

The shelter is located at First Baptist Church, 6370 Atascadero Mall Avenue, near the entrance to Atascadero High School.
