A local sheriff's deputy makes a rare find while ordering a cup of coffee. It happened Tuesday morning, at Coffee Mojo on the 7,000 block of Hollister avenue in Goleta. That's where deputy Tony Kouremetis stepped on some dough while ordering his joe. When he looked down he saw a stack of 100 dollar bills wrapped with a band that said ten thousand dollars. After doing a little investigative work the deputy determined the money belong to a man sitting at a table outside the coffee shop. Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Deputy, Tony Kouremetis says, "The whole situation was kind of weird. I stepped on ten thousand dollars, which will probably never happen again but, I just did what any of my brothers and sisters in law enforcement would have done." It turns out the man, the money belonged to, had recently lost his wallet and checkbook. He needed to pay bills so he withdrew the cash. Lucky for him an honest man was standing behind him when he dropped it.
