Today, we may see the hottest temperatures of the week and fewer clouds due to the weak offshore flow. Heading in to Labor Day Weekend, high pressure aloft will build from the east bringing subtropical moisture, above normal temperatures and humid conditions. Through the weekend, Santa Barbara and the South Coast will most likely see breezy sundowner winds resulting in dry and warm conditions. The winds should be below advisory levels. A low should approach by Sunday bringing a cooling trend with near normal temperatures into early next week. By midweek, a high should return resulting in a warming trend. During hot weather, remember to stay hydrated, use plenty of sunscreen, wear light colored clothing, avoid the mid-day sun and don't leave anyone or animals in vehicles.
