Hot temps for Sunday

Temperatures will be well above normal through Sunday, with highs in the 70's and 80's. Winds are expected to kick up to 10-20 mph Sunday morning in the San Luis Obispo County Mountains and in the afternoon and evening hours through Monday in Santa Barbara and inland areas of San Luis Obispo. By Sunday afternoon and evening, high clouds will increase over the Central Coast. Slightly cooler weather and increasing clouds are expected through Tuesday as a trough approaches from the north. There is a 20 percent chance of showers Monday morning along the coast from Vandenberg to San Simeon. A warming trend is likely to begin Tuesday evening with a strong offshore flow developing.
