ORANGE, Calif. (AP) - An early morning fire at an Orange County motel forced the evacuation of a dozen guests.

Firefighters arrived at the Days Inn Motel in Orange around 4 a.m. Saturday. The fire was limited to a third floor room.

Fire Capt. Ed Engler said it's unclear if the room was occupied at the time of the blaze, which remained under investigation.

Guests had to evacuate, but no one was injured. Neighboring
rooms were damaged by smoke and water.
