Hundreds of adults were at the Exploration Station in Grover Beach on Sunday for a unique fundraiser.
The Chemistry of Cocktails fundraiser featured local mixologists in a competition to create the best cocktail.
Around 300 tickets were sold for the event, which featured cocktail tasting, food, live music, and much more.
Board President Anita Shower says they have mixed things up this year for the second annual event.
"Last year we took the drinks to the judges. This year the judges are going from bartender to bartender and the drink is being made right in front of them."
All proceeds from the event will go to the Exploration Station's learning programs.
Organizers say last year's event raised around $5,200.
