Hurricane Isaac wobbles in the Gulf and maintains strength

Until hurricane Isaac movies inland it'll have access to additional moisture keeping the storm strong, and potentially even allowing some strengthening. 10-20+ inches of rain is possible for parts of southern Louisiana. Isaac made landfall at the Mississippi River Delta around 6:45pm local time with winds near 80mph.
