The I Madonnari Festival is going on all weekend near Mission Plaza in San Luis Obispo.
It's an Italian street painting festival where artists draw amazing works of art with chalk.
It's happening at the corner of Broad and Monterey Streets, and it is free to get in.
I Madonnari started several hundred years ago in Italy.
"The artists would get together, and they would paint on the streets images of the Madonna, and so that's where the name came from, I Madonnari. They painted the Madonna, and that now has evolved into festivals around the world," said Randy Dettner with the American Institution of Architects.
The event is a fundraiser for arts programs at local schools.
It runs Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
