SAN CARLOS, Calif. (AP) - A 21-year-old Oakland woman arrested on suspicion of identity theft at a San Carlos electronics store is facing additional charges after authorities say she tried to bring marijuana into the jail after her arrest.
The San Jose Mercury News reports http://bit.ly/12BPJNs that Robinique Manuel was arrested at a Best Buy store Thursday when San Mateo County deputies called to the store found she was carrying fraudulent debit and gift cards, as well as an altered driver's license.
Authorities say Manuel was also wanted on two misdemeanor warrants from outside of San Mateo County.
When Manuel was taken to jail to be booked on suspicion of burglary, identity theft and other charges, deputies say they found that she also had marijuana in her possessions.
Manuel was also arrested on suspicion of bringing an illegal substance into jail.
