Adding more fiber to your diet may lower your risk for heart disease.
That's according to new research on fiber intake.
Researchers say eating more vegetables, fruit, insoluble fiber like whole grains, and insoluble fiber like beans, nuts, oats, and barley, can be really beneficial.
Even as little as one extra portion of whole grains plus beans or fruit and vegetables per day can make a difference.
