ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - A Disneyland worker remains hospitalized in critical condition after he was struck by a Space Mountain roller coaster.
The Orange County Register says the 68-year-old machinist remains in a critical-care unit.
He suffered head, chest and back injuries as he worked on the ride on Oct. 3. The ride vehicles can reach 30 mph.
Disneyland Resort spokeswoman Suzi Brown says the ride didn't malfunction and was back in operation the next day.
The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health is investigating the accident.
