Rescue crews came to the aid of a hiker who suffered a head injury while hiking alone on Tunnel Trail in the Seven Falls area Wednesday evening.

Santa Barbara County Fire officials say other hikers nearby helped the man while emergency crews headed to the scene.

The entire rescue took about an hour and ten minutes. The man was taken to the hospital for treatment.
