Santa Barbara County Fire officials say a hiker fell and had to be rescued Monday evening.
It happened just after 6:00 pm on Rattlesnake Trail, in the area of Las Canoas and Mission Canyon Roads, north of the City of Santa Barbara.
Fire officials say a 57-year old woman was hiking with a small dog when she fell. She suffered minor injuries and shortness of breath.
Firefighters were able to walk her down the trail. She was then taken to the hospital for treatment.
