NORWALK, Calif. (AP) California Highway Patrol says a motorcyclist was killed and traffic stopped for about three hours on Interstate 5 through Norwalk. All lanes were reopened around 7:30 a.m.
CHP Officer Al Perez says the cyclist was traveling northbound around 4:25 a.m. Thursday when he crashed and was ejected into the southbound lanes, where he was run over by at least three vehicles.
Perez says the male victim had been traveling with a group of cyclists but he sped away from them and crashed, his bike tumbling end over end.
