Investigators are expected to release the identity of the man hit and killed by a train in Santa Barbara County on Tuesday.

It happened around 3:30 pm on the tracks at the Fairview Avenue overpass in Goleta.

Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Deputies say the victim is a man between the age of 16 and 20.

He had no identification on him when he was discovered dead.

Deputies say the conductor said three other men about the same age were throwing rocks and making lewd gestures at the train moments before the accident.

They say those men could be witnesses and are trying to track them down for more information.
