It's the first time this rocket has been on the west coast and it's considered the most powerful rocket that will ever be launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base.

KSBY News got a close-up look at the Air Force's first Delta IV Heavy rocket on Tuesday. The Delta IV provides a single system that can accommodate medium-lift to heavy-lift missions for the U.S. Government or commercial launches. It's scheduled to be launched in December of 2010.

KSBY News Reporter Monica Quintero will have a live report tonight on KSBY News.
