The daughter of former President George W. Bush made a stop on the Central Coast Thursday and she hopes it will inspire others to change lives.
Cal Poly welcomed Jenna Bush Hager to kick off its Provocative Perspectives Speaker Series.
About 150 people took a seat to listen to Hager's adventures with UNICEF and as a 'TODAY' Show correspondent.
Hager is chairwoman of UNICEF's Next Generation, an initiative dedicated to reducing the number of preventable childhood deaths around the world.
"I believe the more we know about the plight of people all over the world, the more likely we are to help others," said Hager.
Filmmaker Jeremy Seifert of the movie "Dive-living off American's Waste" will be the next speaker in the series on January 27.
