Earlier this year, we watched Cayucos resident Jodi Fisher capture the hearts of so many people.
She passed out ice cream on her birthday, met the President, and was on the "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
It was all part of Jodi's "fun list" before she passed away of cancer.
DeGeneres says the Fisher family left a lasting impact on her and the staff of "Ellen." She welcomed them back to the show to check-in and see how they are doing.
Jodi's family is getting some pretty neat gifts from a woman who saw their story the first time they were on "Ellen."
You can see the show Monday afternoon on KSBY at 4 p.m.
