I hate to even utter these words, but summer ain't gonna' last forever. That's why you need to take advantage of summer activities while you can.
It's why my pick of the week is to take in some of the live music happening at wineries around the country until Fall.
And this Saturday at Paolillo (Poh-lill-oh) Vineyards in Paso Robles, you can check out a guy you probably recognize rockin' behind the mic. Casey Biggs, better known to many as "The Paso Wine Man" will perform with Sleepy Guitar Johnson as part of Paolillo's Rockin' the Vine Series.
Biggs and Johnson will play from 6:30 to 9:30. $20.00 gets you in, plus your first glass of wine and dessert. Dinners are available to purchase for $12.00. It's a great way to take in sunset in wine country.
These performances are so fun because they're in beautiful settings and you can get up and dance, or just kick back and enjoy the views. There are a number of them happening this weekend. Still Waters Vineyards is having Re-Wined play from 1:00 p.m. -4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon. J & J Cellars and Vina Robles have live music Saturday evening. Calcareous Vineyards has music Wednesday evenings for sunsets.
