The jury deciding the fate of a San Miguel man accused of shooting a pregnant woman enters its third full day of deliberations.
The case of Steven Smith went to the jury Monday afternoon.
Smith is charged with two counts of attempted murder for the 2009 shooting. Both the victim and her child survived.
In the course of the trial, the prosecution painted Smith as a womanizer. They also say he was the father of the victim's child. But the defense argued that the woman had an agenda to make Smith's life miserable.
