The jury trial is underway for two men connected to a deadly home invasion robbery in Morro Bay back in 2009.
Luke Waite and Joshua Coleman are charged with felonies including pre-meditated murder and attempted murder.
Jason Graves, 22, was shot and killed after police say he and Waite, who was 19 at the time, forced their way into a Morro Bay home and tried to rob the people inside. When the victims fought back, a gun battle began. Waite also suffered a gun shot wound but survived.
Attorneys made opening statements Friday.
