Former White House Advisor and Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove will make a stop at UC Santa Barbara on Thursday.
Rove was invited to the campus by the UCSB College Republicans. He will be discussing the current political climate and his new book called "Courage and Consequence."
The event is only open to students. However, not everyone is welcoming his visit. Protestors are already planning to gather outside with signs. Rove will speak at Campbell Hall from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
It won't be his only Central Coast stop in the next few months. On March 27 he'll be in San Luis Obispo to speak at the Madonna Inn.
