To celebrate Ag Week, the California Women for Agriculture hosted Ag Day at Guadalupe Park on Wednesday.
Local agricultural organizations were on hand to teach kids the importance of agriculture.
Hundreds of kids from the Guadalupe Boys and Girls Club enjoyed hands-on activities like planting seedlings and a petting zoo.
"It is important for them to learn," said Lottie Martin of the Santa Barbara County Ag Commissioner's Office.
Nipomo 4H, Pioneer Valley High School FFA, and the Ag Commissioner's Office all helped put on the event.
