Children who have a television in their bedroom are at a higher risk for obesity.
A new study of more than 350 kids found children with a bedroom TV had more fat mass and a higher waist circumference compared to their peers who didn't have one.
A bedroom television was also linked to higher rates of diabetes, heart disease and high cholesterol.
Researchers say these kids tend to watch more TV and are more likely to skip more healthy activities like exercise, sleep and family meals.
