Koenig, Morrow lead Eagles to sweep at St. Joseph

The Eagles soared one match closer to a perfect run through Pac 7 League play. The Arroyo Grande High girls volleyball team swept the host St. Joseph Knights on Tuesday to improve to 20-6 overall and 7-0 in league play.
The Eagles won 25-18, 25-16 and 25-13.
Alyssa Koenig led the Eagles with 14 kills, while Milissa Morrow pounded down 9 more for AG. Alaina Hogeboom compiled 26 assists for the Eagles, who are ranked #6 this week in the CIF Division 2AA Coaches poll.
Haley Gantt led the Knights with 11 kills, while Caty Drewniak had 25 assists. St. Joseph dropped to 1-6 in league and 12-11 overall.
The Eagles host Righetti on Thursday night.
