The KSBY sports department has selected the top players in the area for our KSBY Central Coast Football Team. The selections were made based on performance during the season, including the playoffs.
Most Valuable Player: Scotty Cusack, St. Joseph Senior
- 891 yards rushing (10.5 yds per carry)
- 38 receptions for 658 yards
- 11 kick returns for 494 yards (45 yds per return)
- 21 total touchdowns and 4 conversions
Quarterback: Tyler Baty, Mission Prep Senior
- 2,996 yards passing (230 yds per game)
- 45 touchdown passes, 7 interceptions
- 3 rushing touchdowns
- Guided Royals to the Northeast Division championship game
Running Back: Colton Madrigal, Paso Robles Senior
- 1,553 yards rushing (141 yds per game)
- 15 receptions for 240 yards
- 17 touchdowns
Fullback: Wesley Williams, St. Joseph Senior
- 825 yards rushing, 10 touchdowns
- 2 receptions for 40 yards and a touchdown
- Lead blocker for Knights rushing attack that averaged 230 yards per game
Tight End: Ryan Mediano, St. Joseph Senior
- 22 receptions for 463 yards and 3 touchdowns
- Blocked for run game that averaged 230 yards per contest
Wide Receiver: Joey Hall, Mission Prep Senior
- 62 receptions for 1,380 yards
- State best 24 touchdown receptions
- Returned 2 kick-offs for touchdowns
Wide Receiver: Luke Wilson, Righetti Senior
- 68 receptions for 1,064 yards
- 7 touchdowns
Offensive Line: Lompoc
- Braves rushed for 293 yards per game
- Averaged 43 points per game
Kicker: Ben Adam, St. Joseph Senior
- Made nine field goals and 39 point after touchdowns
- 33 of 42 kick offs went for touchbacks
