LOS ANGELES (AP) - Los Angeles utility officials say a power outage in Studio City has left about 400 customers without power, including the studios for local television stations KCBS and KCAL.
Los Angeles Department of Water and Power spokeswoman Jane Galbraith says the power in the San Fernando Valley neighborhood went out just before 8 p.m. on Friday night.
The outage affected one circuit shared by a large apartment complex and the television sister stations, which share offices and studio facilities.
National programming on KCBS was airing as usual, but KCAL's local newscast was knocked off the air. The stations' Twitter account says power is slowly being restored.
Galbraith says the utility will reroute the power from another circuit to restore power.
She says the cause of the outage was not yet determined.
