Lady Cougars win consolation final in Livermore

The Cuesta College women's basketball team won the consolation final at the Las Positas Tournament in Livermore on Saturday. The Lady Cougars beat Lassen 70-32 to improve to 2-1 on the season.
Freshman guard Courtney Chadwick led the Cougars with 17 points and earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team. Atascadero High graduate Alyssa Palma, a sophomore, poured in 16 points. Morro Bay High graduate Aria Johnson recorded a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Head coach Ron Barba's squad returns to action Thursday,November 29 against West Hills in the Conoco/Phillips Tournament at Cuesta College.
