After a pleasant day of weather for most of Friday, a cold front pushed into the region as the evening arrived, bringing some rain with it. The front is weakening as it continues to push further south and eastward tonight, with the showers diminishing in coverage. Clearing skies will arrive by daybreak, and temperatures should be rather chilly by sunrise, down into the low and mid 40s.
Sunshine returns for Saturday, but it will get windy as we progress into the midday and afternoon hours. Winds will average 15-25mph, with some gusts 35-40mph. High temperatures will be ranging from the upper 50s to lower 60s in most places, except a few degrees warmer along coastal areas of Santa Barbara county. Sunshine will prevail for Sunday too. Temperatures reaching the mid to upper 60s for highs. Less wind for Sunday, but still on the breezy side, with wind speeds of 10-20mph.
By Monday, a warming trend gets into full swing...High temperatures will reach the 70s in many places most of next week. Sunny skies will prevail, with the chances of rain looking minimal through Thursday. A nice taste of spring, considering spring officially arrives at 10:32am PDT, next Saturday, March 20th.
