The Cuesta College women's water polo team continued its recent hot stretch with a 20-6 win over Citrus College in a Western State Conference game on Wednesday.
The Cougars built an early 4-0 lead and never looked back.
Nipomo High graduate Shanae Lauridsen led the way with 5 goals, while Haylie Fry added 4 goals for the Lady Cougars.
After falling in a 2-12 slide, the Cougars went 4-1 last week. The women improved to 2-3 in conference and 14-15 overall.
