They are one of my favorite things about living on the coast. The beautiful and resourceful Brown Pelicans.
This Saturday you can get to know one in Morro Bay. From 10-11 in the morning Dani Nicholson, past president of Pacific Wildlife Care, will bring "Morro," a Brown Pelican, to the Morro Bay State Park Campground to hang out.
Morro cannot be released into the wild because of his physical condition, so now serves as an educational animal for PWC. This is a great opportunity to see a Brown Pelican up close and learn all about their characteristics, physical presence, and lives.
