Some local families got quite a treat Friday at the San Luis Obispo Children's Museum as part of the second annual Central Coast Railroad Festival.
A model train, made an entirely out of Legos, is on display for visitors to see until Saturday.
This weekend's festival covers more than 50 railroading events from Paso Robles to Guadalupe.
The Lego train creator, Mark Assi, says his year-long project is all worth it when he sees the kids faces light up. "I think it's just as exciting for me to see them as it is for them to see it, because they're just like, it blows them away. And the main thing that's really cool about this is it really sparks their imagination."
The train display is complete with Paso Robles vineyards, the Swiss Alps and even a railcar diner.
