Lightning strikes too close to home for one Lompoc woman and her family. Nita Streetman was reading early Wednesday morning when she heard the lightning slam into a palm tree near her home.

She said at least five windows on her home were broken and the front door was cracked in half, bending the deadbolt. She's been without power since the incident, joining several others along the Central Coast. We'll talk to Nita and have more on her story tonight on KSBY News at 6.
