Can children with autism thrive in public school? That's just one of the questions that will be addressed at a conference being held in Buellton on Thursday. April is autism awareness month and this conference called: "Autism: Moving from Science and Research to Practice" will feature discussions on national autism standards, health care coverage and education.

KSBY's Monica Quintero will talk with parents and speakers at the conference. Watch KSBY News tonight at 5:00 and 6:00 for a complete report.

Topics: autism awareness month, "Autism: Moving from Science and Research to Practice, " KSBY News, Monica Quintero
