Some local high schoolers can enjoy a nicer lunch area now thanks to a group of Boy Scouts.
Ethan Carroll and Boy Scout Troop 214 of Los Osos wrapped up a week-long project Saturday.
They repaired 12 lunch tables and benches for Morro Bay High School.
It was all part of Ethan's Eagle Scout Project.
"Morro Bay High School is in dire need of repair for their 12 picnic tables. Their principal had asked me for my Eagle Scout project if I could repair these 12 tables, and it's been a lot of hard work," said Ethan.
Now, high schoolers can enjoy a nicer place to sit, eat lunch, read, and visit with friends.
Ethan is ranked as a Life Scout, which is the rank just below Eagle Scout.
