A local developer, looking to shut down the Oceano Airport, will hold a meeting Wednesday to discuss the matter.

Jeff Edwards says he wants to use the land to develop homes or commercial buildings, among other things. But, San Luis Obispo County supervisors say they have no intention of selling or leasing the 59-acre airport.

So to spark a discussion, Edwards is holding a series of public meetings. You can attend Wednesday night's meeting at the Grover Beach Rabobank on 899 Grand Avenue. It begins at 5:00 p.m..
