Local diabetics encouraged to attend free lecture

Diabetics are invited to a free lecture at Arroyo Grande Community Hospital Tuesday night to learn more about the disease and how to better control it with diet.
It is specifically geared toward people with type 2 diabetes.
Registered Dietitian Caryn Coffman, M.A., R.D., is the guest speaker for the event called "Controlling Your Diabetes: How Diet Can Make a Difference."
It takes place Tuesday, March 30, at the hospital's Annex Main Conference room at 6:00 p.m.
No reservations are necessary.
