Local dog will have life saving surgery

Last week we brought you the story of Goodie Girl, the local Golden Retreiver who needs life saving surgery.
A Santa Barbara man ended up donating $2,000 last weekend after he saw the story on KSBY.
He wishes to remain anonymous, but we do know he personally delivered the money to Goodie Girl and her owner Bev Macgee in Atascadero.
Not only did he bring his donation, he also brought Goodie Girl toys for her to play with.
The good samaritan says he wanted to help out because he used to have a golden retriever who was also sick.
Goodie Girl will have her surgery on Thursday at UC Davis.
